Use these web sites to find the right sounds to enhance your radio play.  A suggestion is to record these onto a cassette by holding the recorder up to your computer's speakers and recording the sound as it plays.  You may also choose to burn this onto a CD.

Free Sound Effects : Sounds play quickly, but are clear

Find Sounds : Lets you choose the file format and size, has background music bits also

Sound Effects : This site has lots of sounds, but also lots of pop up advertisements

Sound America: has sounds from movies, TV shows, and cartoons as well as a sound effects area.

Royalty Free Music and Sound Effects : Good site for gasps and groans
